The Shadow

CHAPTER 10

Shadow drifted along the stream of darkness into a square room three finely decorated sofas clustered around a bronzed round table a long rectangular window looked out into a garden he pulled down on the bronzed leaf shaped handles a soft breeze rushed in eagerly carrying scent of the floral garden on its back Shadow did not care for smell.  The vines infested coiling around the balconies and columns that separated them he slivered back into the room and abandoned Tar like an ill fitting shoe wriggling loosening reclaiming his body as Tar wilted like leaf onto the marble floor.
